The OPC-2350LU can also be used with the ID-31E, ID-51E (original version) and the IC-7100 for picture and text message transfer via the RS-MS1A, which has been recently updated to include the additional compatibility for these radios.

The RS-MS1A software is available for free at Google Play (The RS-MS1A works with the Android OS version 4.0 or later). The OPC-2350LU is ideal for owners of the ID-31E, ID-51E and IC-7100 as a means for picture and text transfer purposes (other functions will not work with the ID-31E/51E/IC-7100).

The Access Point mode enables another D-STAR transceiver to make D-STAR gateway calls through the ID-4100A connected to the Internet. 50 watts of output power can be used for a D-STAR access point.
