With the new FLEX headset or one of the older triple headsets, you can now easily switch from the earcup to the radio cable you want. Simply disconnect the accessory from the mic and replace it with the desired cable/earcup.

Headset (earcup with microphone/transmitter key) where the microphone and transmitter key are waterproof!

If you buy a waterproof headset, you don't have to take the radio out of your pocket when you're broadcasting. You also avoid hunting radios that involuntarily lie and broadcast and disturb the whole team because there has been moisture in the accessory.
