Hari Delta-Loop 40m 1kW

A monoband deltaloop is a wire loop with a full wavelength. The suspension determines the function of the antenna quite considerably, the easiest way is to mount it with the tip pointing upwards. The steel wire has a good tensile strength, so you only need one raised point and two more guy points near the ground.

The polarisation is determined by the position of the feed point. If the balun is down in the middle of the horizontal wire, the signal is predominantly horizontally polarised. If the balun is in one of the lower corners or slightly above in a slanted piece of wire, the antenna is predominantly vertically polarised. In all cases, the antenna in this design is a very good omnidirectional antenna. The gain is given in the literature as +3 dBD.

The balun supplied has a transmission ratio of 1:2, it is designed for a maximum power of 1000 W, connection PL socket. The Hari delta Loop is fully assembled. Only the three insulators supplied are not fixed to the antenna wire, as an individual fixing point must be found here for each installation. The required wire clamps for fixing the insulators are supplied.
