Brodit's headrest mount is car-specific and serves as an mounting platform. You also need a holder for the device you want to mount. Holders for the mount can be found easily by searching for your device on our website. All Brodit holders can be mounted on the headrestraint bracket, but some holders for tablets are crash tested and approved for use on Brodit's headrest (look for crash test marking).  
 
The bracket is placed on the front seat headrest. You can mount it yourself in a few minutes, installation instructions are included. The mounting plate of the bracket has pre-drilled holes that make it easier to install a holder.
