The lightweight and flexible Pota-Flex 7 coaxial cable from Messi e Paoloni has an outer diameter of 7.65 mm, with 19 individual copper wires forming the inner conductor.

The shielding consists of 3 layers: 2 x braids of copper wire with 120 wires each, copper foil underneath with a PE layer surrounding the dielectric.
This not only provides ideal HF shielding, but also protects the cable from mechanical damage. The dielectric is foamed, resulting in very low attenuation in relation to the diameter.

It was specially developed for outdoor applications such as POTA (Parks on the Air), where extremely robust cables that are clearly visible in the field are required. The yellow sheathing of the cable is highly visible and thus offers additional protection against tripping hazards and accidental "snagging" in busy places.
