Description

The Yaesu FT-818 is the successor to the faithful ft-817.

New with the FT-818 is that it comes SBR-32 (9.6V 1900mAh Ni-MH), Built-in crystal oven ±0.5 ppm(TCXO-9)
& power output of 6W. The radio is ready for WRC-15 i.e. TX at 5.3515-5.3665MHz (60M).

Despite the small format, the FT-818 has several features found in much larger stations. E.g. Dual VFO, split-driving, IF-shift, clarifier (R.I.T.), IF noice blanker, adjustable AGC, RF Gain and Squelch, IPO (Intercept Point Optimization), attenuator, VOX and CW keyer and much, much more.
