Yaesu M1 Table Microphone

With the M-1 and M-100 Yaesu is launching two High-End Desktop microphones. Both come with two microphone elements: a Condenser and a Dynamic element.
With its clear, bright modulation the condenser element is designed for the use in poor conditions or in a DX-Pileup. The dynamic element has emphasis on the lower and middle frequency range. So this element is better suitable for a local QSO or a simple chat.


The M-1 has a built-in 9-band graphic equalizer. Both microphone elments can be adjusted via this equalizer. And that separate for each element or both together. The adjustable ranges of the Equalizer are 63Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz and 16 kHz. Once found values can easily be stored in one of the 2 integrated Memorys. Of course you can switch off the graphic equalizer and then the element is bypassed. The built in LC-Display in the base of the M-1 allows you to see all set values quick and comfortable. A also integrated 20s voice recorder (M-1 only) allows you to record and playback.


To optimize the important frequency range from 1kHz to 1.5kHz Yaesu ships both microphones with a "Treble Boost Cowling". An integrated additional microphone amplifier is also available.


For the first time Yaesu uses magnetic switches for the PTT in both models. This is a qualitative advantage to the previously used microswitches in the other models. For a smooth and long keystroke the M-1/M-100 has three Air-Cylinder-Tubes at the PTT-Key. A large, red TX-LED indicator is another feature of this microphone. To prevent you from an accidental transmitting, a PTT-Lock also is available.


The M-1 also has an adjustable headphone socket and an XLR socket.


The supplied cable for the M-1 and M-100 has both connectors, 8pin round and modular. The M-1 also supportx XLR. The M-1 microphone has a 5V supply input, the power supply is included. The M-1oo model is supplied by most transceivers directly.


The model M-100 uses the same hi-quality microphone elements and the same enclisure and cowling, but the base is designed differently. The M-100 does not have an equalizer, no headphone connector and no XLR connector. The power supply is wrist by most transceivers directly, for older trasmceivrs the optionpower supply M-100. PSU is available.
