A very good headset for the discerning listener.

The headset has large soft ear pads that completely enclose the ear and dampen the reflection sound very well. There is also active sound attenuation of background noise through separate connectable phase turning.

"iC" microphone elements that are speceillt developed to fit several of ICOM rigs' low gain in the mic input part.
It's getting power from the Icom rig's micophoncontact. 

Old Icom rigs like IC-775DSP, IC-765 and even IC-7000 need this 'IC' element and the IC-7000 also needs the adapter ADIC-M.

For new rigs such as IC-746, IC-7400, IC-756 Pro1/2/3, IC-7600, IC-7700, IC-7800 m fl, this element is not needed but HC-4/6 elements can be used. Or you pull down the mic gain on the rig for these Icom models.
