Description

The AT-D168UV is the "little brother" of the popular AT-D878UV. It also offers the ability to store up to 500,000 digital contacts and 10,000 talkgroups, so there's plenty of memory for the complete list of all registered DMR users. Another feature is roaming, which means the ability to automatically select an available repeater based on a predefined list.

The AT-D168UV is equipped with a variety of other features. When used in analog mode, features such as DTMF, CTCSS, and DCS are supported, as well as 2-tone and 5-tone encoding. A tone burst of 1750 Hz is also available. Two buttons on the radio can be individually assigned functions, allowing each user to set their personal preferences.

The 1.77" large color display can be illuminated at different levels and is easy to read even in sunlight at the brightest level.
Unlike the AT-D878UV, the display has been upgraded, looks more modern and should thus ensure better readability.
A bar graph is now available to show the signal strength making it easier to read.
