Simple operation

Most characteristic of the IC-A6E is the simple operation where you can operate most functions with one hand thanks to the large and clearly marked keypad. The backlit display also provides very good readability with large numbers showing the set frequency. You can choose to have the lighting on all the time which is a great advantage when flying in the dark.
Impact resistant

The IC-A6E saves the last 10 channels used and you can easily return to these using the arrow keys. The station is impact resistant with its robust chassis and water resistant equivalent to IPX4 of the international standard IEC 60529 (2001).

Other features include 200 memory channels where each channel can get its own name of up to 6 characters, a 121.5 MHz emergency button, interference limiters (ANL), search for marked channels and channels in the memory bank, low battery warning, and sidetone function that allows you to hear your own voice in an external air radio headset.
Many accessories

With the help of a wall charger or cigarette lighter cable, you can run the station independently of the battery. When a battery is installed, this can be charged in parallel. In addition, an empty cartridge for alkaline batteries is available as an accessory.
