Philips & Simoco PRM80 & SRM9000 series radios

This handy cable allows you to program your Philips/Simoco transceiver from your computer.

One end of the cable has an RJ45 (8 pin) modular plug which connects to the radio's microphone socket. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC. Length approx 1m/3ft 3ins (if required, you can add a USB extension cable up to a total of 5m long).

This cable uses the SiLabs CP2102 USB to serial chipset and works with Windows up to version 10.

Programming software not included. Please check the availability of suitable software for your model of radio. This USB cable can be used with DOSBOX to run DOS programming software under Windows or Linux, see here.

This cable is suitable for PRM80 Series - PRM8010, PRM8015, PRM8020, PRM8025, PRM8030, PRM8040 etc. and SRM9000 series.
