Anytone AT-5100 BT 28-30Mhz 35W, SSB, AM, FM, CW

The AnyTone AT-5100 is a compact multimode mobile transceiver for the 10-m amateur radio band from 28.000 to 29.700 MHz. It supports FM, AM, USB, LSB and CW and delivers a maximum output power of 30 W on FM, 30 W PEP on SSB and 10 W carrier power or 35 W PEP on AM.

The integrated NRC noise reduction operates on both the receive and transmit side and can reduce unwanted vehicle, fan and ambient noise. Additional features include automatic squelch (ASQ), CTCSS/DCS, Dual Watch, an echo function and a PA mode. The Bluetooth version also features an integrated Bluetooth interface and allows wireless connection to suitable Bluetooth headsets.

For frequency selection, the AT-5100 offers a channel mode with bands A to I and 40 selectable channels per band. These are not conventional amateur radio memory channels, but a channelized frequency selection system. In addition, a true VFO mode is available for freely setting the operating frequency. Selectable tuning steps of 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1 kHz, 5 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz and 1 MHz allow precise tuning, particularly for SSB and CW.

The illuminated LCD shows frequency, operating mode, signal strength, transmit power and SWR, among other information. The radio can be configured directly from the front panel or via PC programming using the front-mounted USB-C port. The antenna connection is provided by an SO-239 socket for 50 Ω. The supply voltage is 12 V DC, with a maximum current draw of approximately 10 A during modulation. A PLL synthesizer is used for frequency generation, with a specified frequency stability of ±5 ppm.
