Kenwood KHS-56BT Bluetooth Headset with PTT

The Kenwood KHS-56BT is a wireless Bluetooth headset with an integrated PTT button for compatible Kenwood radios such as the TM-D750E. PTT operation is performed directly from the headset, so no separate hand microphone is required during radio operation. Especially for mobile use, the wireless connection provides greater freedom of movement and reduces distracting cables.

For good intelligibility even in noisy environments, the KHS-56BT features Active Noise Cancelling. The single-ear headset can be worn on either the left or right ear. The package includes both isolating in-ear earpieces and open-type earpieces in three sizes each, as well as an ear hook. This allows the headset to be adapted to different wearing preferences and operating conditions.

The integrated lithium-ion battery provides an operating time of approximately 12 hours with noise cancelling enabled; with ANC switched off, Kenwood specifies around 13 hours under the same test conditions. The headset is charged using the supplied charging cradle, with a charging time of approximately two hours. Thanks to its IP55 rating, the KHS-56BT is also protected against dust and water jets, making it well suited for mobile and outdoor radio operation.
