This is a solar-powered communication node that integrates the XIAO nRF52840 Plus main controller, the Wio‑SX1262 LoRa module, and the XIAO L76K GPS module. It is specifically designed for areas without network coverage. With a built-in battery, it supports long‑distance communication, precise positioning, and low‑power operation. It is well suited for extending network coverage in outdoor environments.
The SenseCAP Solar Node P1‑Pro includes positioning functionality and four 18650 batteries. If you have your own batteries and do not need positioning, choose the SenseCAP Solar Node P1.
Button‑top 18650 batteries must be used when replacing the battery.
It uses a 5W solar panel system combined with four 18650 batteries with a capacity of 3350 mAh each. This design ensures continuous operation even without sunlight and effectively solves the challenge of outdoor power supply.
The device comes pre‑flashed with Meshtastic firmware from the factory.
It includes a built‑in XIAO L76K GPS module for high‑precision real-time positioning. It supports the sharing of location information, providing reliable positioning for outdoor activities.
Equipped with a Grove interface, it is easy to connect various sensors, such as temperature and humidity sensors. This meets diverse monitoring needs and enables simple functional expansion.
It is suitable for long-term outdoor use.
The communication range between two devices can reach 8–9 km in open areas. It can seamlessly integrate into the Meshtastic ecosystem and operate as an outdoor node or repeater to easily extend the mesh network and improve coverage.
